Q: How do I get there from here?

A: To get here you can fly into Eugene, OR. We are located  40 miles south on Interstate 5. Renting a car is a nice option. Our studio setting is remarkable for its natural beauty on the Row River and is quite secluded, approximately 10 miles outside of Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Q: Six days and five nights, how does that work?

A: We provide lodging starting Sunday night to allow you to awake relaxed and ready to begin a fun and educational week of picture framing. Your lodging is included from Sunday to Friday nights.  Accommodations include meals, beverages and even an optional evening glass of wine. You have it all.  Read more here

Q: Will I return home with completed pieces of framed art?

A: Yes.  You will leave with ten to twelve pieces of your own art work framed including samples. The retail value of this package usually totals around $2,000.

Q: What types of art will I be working on?

A: I ask each guest to bring several small pieces. They can be personal or just interesting. We like to have a small object to create a shadow box. Art work is available if you have no special projects.

Q: Do you have pets?

A: Yes, three cats, and Ted, a crazy dog.

Q: Do you serve dinner?

A: Yes, we do cook at home and you are always welcome to join us. You can also drive into Cottage Grove to one of our quaint restaurants, you can cook, bring back your own take out, we can split pizza—we’re flexible, eating dinner in or out is your choice.
